I've slowed down for a couples years, too. But I've been ramping up lately. When I was a little younger, I took advantage of some genetic gifts and didn't learn the best technique for a lot of things. Now, I have more patience and have been rewiring a few incorrect movement patterns. Wish I had that patience then.

My suggestion is to grab some of those wooden veggies and put them in your fruit box. They don't spoil.

damn straight! Wish I'd never stopped playing racquetball or going for runs over the last 2 1/2 years. I couldn't 'find' the time as I was always working and now that I'm slowly getting back to it... ugh for leg injuries!

I'm glad you brought up the filth they are putting into foods these days though. If you could get a gallon of milk from 20 years ago and compare to today's label, the changes are amazing. Let alone compare anything from back then to now! Science is getting better but the corporations are just after what ingredients they can throw in to make it cheaper to produce, or what they can use on animals to make them produce more or faster quantities. All that filth goes into us.

But personally, I like to put my veggies up with my fruit in the cute little fruit basket on the table. They make a great conversation starter during meals! Wait... eat them? But they look so lovely in there next to the apples and pears!
