The sinus situation

My wife gets sinus infections. Our oldest daughter has, too. For my daughter, the key is to catch it early and get the neti pot involved to clean snot out.

My wife struggles but has found some interesting ways to deal with it. Including using a nebulizer.

Last Monday, I came out of my fast poorly. It was a combination of things but long story short I ate too much. Way too much.

Well, the following evening I felt a cold coming on. Ruby had been sick and we had been wrestling in close quarters. Combine all those factors and Wednesday and Thursday I had a bunch of cold symptoms. I fought that off using andrographis pan and vitamin C, but then on Sunday I pushed myself hard getting all the Christmas lights up. It was too much too soon.

The snotty nose came back. And then started the sinus pressure. In this case, the netti pot isn’t great, I’ve learned. The saline solution can make it warm for bacteria and prompt the infection to grow.

That’s when all the pain my wife’s been through really helped me out. I got out the nebulizer and shot a water, essential oil, and sovereign silver solution up my nose. Tsssssss you could just feel it digging in there.

But it wasn’t enough.

See, with these natural treatments, you need to do it consistently. So today, I was basically shooting sovereign silver straight up my nose and then tilting my head to the left side, right side, and then upside down for 30 seconds. You really want it to work in there.

This guy recommends doing it for 10 minutes. That was hard. But the thing is you want the silver to work its way in there and kill the bacteria.

A sinus infection is hard to treat because it’s hard for your body to get to it. I’m pretty intrigued by this treatment.

A sinus infection is a real drag on the body. It was beginning to make me achy and tired. Colloidal silver is great at treating infections. But when you use it you have to be all in. You have to dose frequently. I did the treatment 6 separate times today.

That is what you’ll find with the natural route. You have to be consistent. Frequent treatments spaced evenly apart.

Anyway, partly I’m writing this for my own memory but perhaps it’ll help some of you out.
