Mental programming with George F. Jowett

“You can do it. Every day in a minor way you are doing so. From now on do it in a Big way. Forget the past. You cannot remake it or undo it. Get down to brass tacks and be the sculptor of your own existence. Make your body the Goliath of your mind.”

This one hits me. Thinking about Jowett as a sickly youth and building his body back up with mind power. It resonates. Reminds me of the power within.

“A something you never coincided with you INNER MAN that hopelessly bound him in shackles of uncontrollable power, misdirected energy or physical weakness. The MAN INSIDE could not move to fulfill your purpose, that is why you fell down. No other reason in the world.”

You must have alignment and willpower.

“Before my eyes I have always carried the glorified vision of the PERFECT MAN. I breathe him while awake and wrap myself in his garment when I sleep, by so doing I keep right and think right. Don’t get it into your head that it is the notion of a faddist that promotes this instruction.”

Anyway, for me this stuff is powerful. He’s the shot in the arm when you need it and sometimes you need to draw your strength from others. In fact, I think our human connections are needed to get this strength, and Jowett is a good connection.

A while back I transcribed word-for-word his out of copyright course and have it available as an ebook. It’s a great course for a restoration/revitalization.
